Emmett Zamore
Research Assistant
Emmett Zamore is a research assistant at GBAO, where he works on survey research, literature reviews, client presentations, and focus groups. A native of Washington, D.C., Emmett first interned with GBAO as a high schooler in 2017, joining full time in 2024.
Prior to joining GBAO, Emmett worked as a canvasser and field organizer during the successful Georgia Senate runoff campaign, and as a communications intern at the voting rights and democracy reform organization End Citizens United, where he gained experience with message writing and media tracking.
Emmett graduated with honors from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in government, and a minor in environmental studies. Emmett’s senior thesis was an empirical study of how anti-democratic rhetoric from partisan elites impacts authoritarian attitudes in the electorate, and included both a qualitative media analysis and a statistical analysis of original survey data.
In his free time, Emmett enjoys hiking and anything baseball related.
