Aminata Diallo
Senior Associate
Aminata Diallo is a Senior Associate at GBAO, where she works on survey research, client presentations, and focus groups. In 2022, Aminata worked on critical Democratic races, including Senator Raphael Warnock’s historic campaign and Congresswoman Lucy McBath's campaign in Georgia. In addition to campaign work, Aminata has collaborated with organizations like the Center for American Progress and Third Way, and works on the Navigator Research team organizing and analyzing a regular series of public-facing focus groups.
Prior to joining GBAO, she interned at the Center for American Progress with the National Security and International Policy team, where she researched a range of domestic and foreign policy issues, including those related to election security around the globe.
Aminata graduated cum laude from Smith College with bachelor’s degrees in government and African studies. During her time at Smith, she focused on the politics of sub-Saharan Africa. Her honors thesis examined political and social engagement among Senegalese youth through the lens of hip-hop culture, which she presented at the University of Michigan’s Emerging Scholars Conference.
