Caleb Apple

Senior Associate

Caleb Apple is a Senior Associate at GBAO, where he works on survey research, client presentations, and focus groups. In 2024, Caleb worked on the successful independent expenditure campaign to elect Elissa Slotkin in Michigan, on Matt Meyer’s gubernatorial campaign in Delaware, and on Jeff Jackson’s Attorney General victory in North Carolina. Caleb also handled quantitative and qualitative projects in key congressional districts for House Majority PAC, and worked on three winning campaigns in his native New York: Rep. Tom Suozzi (NY-03); Rep John Mannion (NY-22); and Erie County District Attorney Michael Keane.

In 2022, Caleb worked on the winning re-election campaigns of Governors Tony Evers (WI) and Laura Kelly (KS), as well as with DSCC IE, which helped re-elect Senators Patty Murray (WA) and Michael Bennet (CO).

Caleb also works on the firm’s research into the attitudes of American Jews, including conducting research for Jewish Democratic Council of America and J Street’s presidential election night survey, and helped conduct GBAO’s polling collaboration with Fabrizio Lee on behalf of the Wall Street Journal. He is passionate about municipal politics and has worked on several successful local elections.

In addition to client projects, Caleb oversees the firm’s election results database and assists in GBAO’s internal data analysis projects.

Caleb graduated from Brown University with a double concentration in political Science and economics. Prior to joining GBAO, he worked on a number of statewide and congressional campaigns and also conducted research for a book on gun legislation and domestic violence.
