Isabel Torres is an Associate at GBAO, where she works on survey research, client presentations, and focus groups, primarily in the Southwest and for political campaigns. Her clients have included Governor Tina Kotek (OR), Representative Teresa Leger Fernandez (NM-3), Representative Melanie Stansbury (NM-1), Representative Andrea Salinas (OR-6), and independent expenditure committees for candidates for Governor and Congress around the country. She also worked on critical statewide races such as Secretaries of State races in Nevada and Arizona.

Isabel also worked on some of the firm’s international work, such as the presidential election in Colombia, and work exploring Venezuelan attitudes toward the Maduro administration and the broader political climate.

Prior to joining GBAO, Isabel worked on Stephen Daniel’s congressional campaign (TX-6) and on President Biden’s campaign as a field organizer in Florida. She later worked as a Research Assistant at the international research firm Global Insight, where she studied women’s rights, poverty, and inequality in countries around the world.

Isabel graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international and area studies, with minors in Spanish and writing. Isabel is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and now lives in Washington, DC.
