Isabel Torres
Senior Associate
Isabel Torres is a Senior Associate at GBAO, where she works on survey research, client presentations, and focus groups, primarily in the Southwest and for political campaigns. Her clients have included Senator Ruben Gallego, Governor Tina Kotek (OR), Representative Teresa Leger Fernandez (NM-3), Representative Andrea Salinas (OR-6), and independent expenditure committees for President and for candidates for Governor and Congress around the country. She has also worked for the ADLCC to help elect Democrats to the state legislature in Arizona and for an independent expenditure committee working to elect Adrian Fontes as Secretary of State in Arizona.
Isabel also worked on some of the firm’s international work, such as the presidential election in Colombia, and work exploring Venezuelan attitudes toward the Maduro administration and the broader political climate. In addition, she has done work for the Nature Conservancy in Brazil exploring Brazilians’ opinions on natural solutions for climate change.
Prior to joining GBAO, Isabel worked on Stephen Daniel’s congressional campaign (TX-6) and on President Biden’s campaign as a field organizer in Florida. She later worked as a Research Assistant at the international research firm Global Insight, where she studied women’s rights, poverty, and inequality in countries around the world.
Isabel graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international and area studies, with minors in Spanish and writing. Isabel is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and now lives in Washington, DC.
