Ana Iparraguirre, a Partner at GBAO, has more than 15 years of experience designing strategies based on data. She combines her experience in US campaigns with a vast knowledge of Latin American politics.
Ana conducted extensive quantitative research in Arizona for state legislative races and among Hispanics. She also works closely with the National Education Association on research to advance public education policies, as well as other organizations including the California Nurses Association, New Hampshire Endowment for Health, Equis Research, and DAGA. Ana routinely moderates focus groups with Hispanics in the US both in English and Spanish.
Before joining GBAO, Ana was a Vice President at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research where she helped lead Democracy Corps, a think tank that conducted research for progressive organizations. In Latin America, she advised campaigns for presidents, governors, and mayors in a dozen countries. Ana also led research projects for international organizations such as the World Bank, USAID, and NDI on issues related to democracy and gender equality.
In addition to her work at GBAO, Ana is a frequent commentator on leading Latin American media outlets and a regular columnist for La Nación newspaper. Ana holds an MA in political management from The George Washington University and a BA in political science from Universidad de San Andrés (Buenos Aires).
