Nisha Jain, a Partner at GBAO, has conducted numerous surveys, focus groups, and in-depth interviews on a wide range of issues, from criminal justice reform to reproductive health and justice to economic opportunity to workers’ rights. Her work has helped inform the policies and platforms of progressive candidates, organizations, and advocacy groups across the country, including the AFL-CIO, Center for American Progress, AARP, DLCC, the Democratic Attorney General Association, and others. In 2020, she worked on the successful campaign for Colorado’s paid family and medical leave ballot measure.
Nisha’s expertise in data visualization, research methodologies, and advanced analytics allows her to create compelling presentations that bring research findings to life, reach audiences often underrepresented in polling, and derive message guidance for GBAO’s clients.
Nisha also has extensive experience in conducting research on AAPI communities and understanding the diverse array of cultures, languages, and experiences that shape their political beliefs and behaviors. She has also worked to deepen our understanding of the unique political perspectives of Latino, Black, and Indigenous communities.
Prior to joining GBAO, Nisha oversaw US and global research engagements at Purple Strategies for Fortune 500 companies looking for rapid research in response to a crisis or looking to bolster their brand reputation. She also led quantitative and opposition research for Democratic campaigns at Momentum Analysis.
Nisha also serves on the board of the Washington Leadership Program, a national non-profit organization developing South Asian American public service leaders. Nisha resides in Falls Church, Virginia and earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from George Mason University.
