Tim Jensen joined GBAO and formed the firm’s data processing operation in 2012, leading and training the firm’s team of data specialists. He has been processing quantitative data—creating crosstabs, toplines, and tracking documents, in addition to merging and standardizing data sets on complex multi-modal projects—for over 25 years, making him one of the most experienced in the field. In that time, Tim has worked on or overseen data management and processing at all levels including for Prime Ministers, presidential candidates, Governors, Members of Congress, local elected officials, and large organizations, both in the United States and internationally.
Prior to joining GBAO, Tim was the founder and President of Survey Data Services, where he ran survey data for multiple polling firms, helping them to elect progressive candidates at the local, state and national level. Simultaneously, he performed all data programming at Myers Research | Strategic Services for 6 years. Tim began his polling career at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, rising to Director of Programming while at the firm for 9 years.
Tim received his Master’s Degree in political management with a quantitative focus from The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management and his Bachelor’s Degree in political science from Niagara University. He currently lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two sons. In his free time, Tim serves on his church council and enjoys traveling and attending sporting events.
